Interview Process

Written Application

The written application is your chance to introduce yourself and tell us why you’re interested in consulting and Scope. We want to learn more about your experiences, interests, and what excites you about joining our organization. This helps us get to know you beyond your resume.

Group Interview

In the group case interview, you’ll work with other candidates to solve a problem together. We’re interested to see how you approach unfamiliar challenges and communicate your ideas while collaborating as a team. This phase is designed to be interactive and gives us insight into how you contribute in a group setting.

Individual Interview

The individual interview is the final stage of the recruitment process and consists of behavioral questions and a technical portion. Candidates will choose in advance between a business case or a computer science-focused technical. It also serves as a chance for us to get to know you better and for you to see if Scope feels like the right fit!

FAQs

  • We expect Scope members to put in about 4-6 hours of dedicated work per week.

  • Not at all! We are open to and accept members of years and experience.

  • Absolutely not! Scope prides itself on the diversity of our members and this includes our educational backgrounds. Scope has members in 16 different majors and who are all valuable members of the team.

  • On average, our teams consist of 5 members each.

  • Scope takes on about 7-8 projects per semester. Each project lasts one semester and rarely go past this due to the efficiency in which our projects are developed and structured.

  • Weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 PM.
